Rite of the Womb
The Rite of the Womb is the 13th rite of the Munay Ki people. It is a call to transform our wombs into sacred containers of love and creative power. Dr. Lisa-Marie Del Rio, feminine psychologist, will offer psychoeducation on the womb as an energetic container that stores a woman’s innate source of creative power. The wombs of every guest will be blessed to release stored fear and pain and usher in a lifestyle that is centered around surrender, pleasure, and creativity. Gifts to nurture the Rite of the Womb will be offered to each guest.

Woman’s Nutrition & The Festival of Vestalia
Vestalia was a Roman festival in honor of Vesta, the goddess of the hearth and home. This festival, initiated by and held for women, occurred in the month of June, and on this night, we bring the festival to our community. Guests will receive education on nutrition to support our bodies and minds. We will also enjoy celebrating our own sacred temples with nourishing food, prepared by local chefs, and an alcohol-free wine tasting. Women will take home a curated gift for their homes.

Feminine Beauty & Body Image
Each woman was born into this world with a sacred and divinely-crafted body. And on this night, we move to heal our relationships with our bodies and stir personal beauty. Dr. Lisa-Marie Del Rio, feminine psychologist, will use mythical stories of the goddess evoke personal radiance. Guests will soothe the thoughts and perceptions about their bodies and be guided to fall in love with the woman in the mirror. Guests will receive a curated gift that promises to make them feel beautiful.

Mother Earth
This event will be held on the beach. Guests will honor Mother Earth with a Pachamama Ceremony, paying back and thanking the earth for her provision and protection. We will learn about our beautiful earth from a local geologist and explore a woman’s unique connection to the earth. We will also engage in grounding exercises by invoking the 4 elements: water, land, fire, and air. Instead of receiving a gift, guests will give a gift to the earth in a cosmic trade.

The Nervous System: A woman’s emotional world
This event will focus on a woman’s emotional world. We will be guided by Dr. Erin Callahan, chiropractor, in an exploration of our nervous systems. Knowing that so many women are carrying trauma, heartache, and fear that overload their fight/flight responses, we will learn to self-soothe and build a solid formation around our wild emotional waters. Guests will receive a curated gift to continue in their journey to heal their nervous systems.

The Female Brain
Dr. Lisa-Marie Del Rio, feminine psychologist, will combine neuroscience and mythology to bring the female brain to life. Women will learn about the unique and powerful pieces of the female brain and step into a fresh identity as a sovereign being. Guests will engage in a group meditation to stir the feminine collective and receive a curated gift to call forward the goddess within.

Blessing of the Daughters
On this night, we will ceremonially bless the young daughters of our community and honor the daughter within in a meditative journey. Guests are invited to bring their daughters, from infancy to adolescence, to be blessed by this circle of women and welcome these precious souls into our sisterhood. We will also send love to the personal inner child, honoring her unique and innate wisdom, through a meditative journey. Please bring an article from your childhood or an item that reflects your childhood for a gentle, exploratory connection to the little one within. This event is facilitated by Lisa-Marie Del Rio, Psy.D., feminine psychologist. All guests will receive a curated gift to foster their relationship with their inner child.

Closing the Bones
On this night, we will complete a ritual honoring of the mother archetype, assisted by local nurses and doulas. The Closing of the Bones is a traditional postpartum ceremony that originated in South America. It is initiated to support women's physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery after giving birth. We will be expanding this practice in order to honor the journey that we have endured throughout the year. During this event, local nurses and doulas will gently wrap participant's in a rebozo (scarf) and offer comforting touch with soothing background music from sound bowls. All women are welcomed. You do not have to be a mother to attend. This will be a beautiful journey within to close our year with reverence and gratitude for all we have experienced. This event is facilitated by Lisa-Marie Del Rio, Psy.D., feminine psychologist. All guests will receive a rebozo and a gift to cleanse themselves and prepare for a new year.

Sacred Rage
On this night, women will be offered a safe, secure place to release their rage. Dr. Lisa-Marie Del Rio, feminine psychologist, will offer psychoeducation on the holiness and power of anger and guide us into the elegance of our anger through somatic release. Guests are welcome and encouraged to leave their masks at the door and walk into savage authenticity. A curated gift to help transmute anger into passion will also be offered to guests.

The Beauty of the Menstrual Cycle
This event will center the menstrual cycle and offer guests education and support. Dr. Callahan will help us to approach our bleed with pride and grace, providing education and helping us to feel empowered. Mothers and daughters are encouraged to come as pairs and help us to build a community that removes the shame and discomfort of approaching the menstrual cycle. Guests will receive a curated period pack, complete with goodies to help you celebrate your bleed. Daughters will be honored in crossing the threshold into womanhood and women will be shored up in their experiences with their own mental cycles.

Descent: A Woman's Journey to Heal
This event will offer psychoeducation on a woman’s journey to restoration of self. Dr. Lisa-Marie Del Rio, feminine psychologist, will be using a combination myth and neuroscience to guide us into ourselves to shed layers of false identity, reclaim our light, and be reborn. We will also share what is on our heart and engage in a riveting group meditation to stir the feminine collective and promote mutual ascension. All guests will receive a curated gift to further her individual healing journey.

Closing of the Bones

Healing the Sisterhood Wound
On this night, we will move to seek forgiveness for the harm we have caused other women and forgive the women who have caused us harm.
We will face our personal insecurities, take accountibility for our role in harming the collective, vow to protect and honor the sisterhood essence, and build a deeper bond with other women.
On the October New Moon, the women of The Red Tent will complete the Ho'oponopono prayer with each other, peeling back the layers of hurt and repairing the sisterhood. We will also experience a ceremonial meal faciliated by local chefs.
